20 Best Oahu Wedding Venues
for 2026.

Written by Brandan Lee — 15 years and 1,000+ weddings across Oahu's most beautiful venues. This is the only guide you need.

How to choose the right
Oahu wedding venue.

After 15 years and over 1,000 weddings across all of Oahu's major venues, I've photographed and filmed at virtually every significant wedding location on the island. I know which venues produce the most stunning photos at golden hour, which have the best service, which are worth the premium price, and which hidden gems most couples overlook.

This guide is the honest photographer's perspective — not a tourism board list. Every venue on this list I've personally worked at. Every tip comes from real experience. If you're trying to decide where to get married on Oahu, this is the guide you need.

How this list is organized: I've ranked these venues by their overall visual impact and wedding experience — not popularity or price. The best venue for you depends on your aesthetic, your guest count, and what matters most. Use the "Best for" note on each venue to find your match.

How to choose between
Oahu's top venues.

If you want the most dramatic photos: Kualoa Ranch

Nothing else on Oahu matches the visual scale of Kualoa Ranch. If jaw-dropping mountain backdrops and cinematic drama are your priority, Kualoa is the clear choice.

If you want the best sunset light: Ko Olina

Ko Olina's west-facing lagoons catch golden-hour light directly every evening — it's the most reliable sunset photography location on the island. Any Ko Olina venue delivers this.

If you want historic romance: Royal Hawaiian or Moana Surfrider

Both are Waikiki icons with nearly 100 years of history. The Royal Hawaiian's pink architecture and the Moana's banyan courtyard create imagery of timeless, romantic beauty.

If you want complete privacy: Lanikuhonua or Kahala Hotel

Both offer exclusive, private settings away from resort crowds. Lanikuhonua on the Ko Olina lagoon and the Kahala in its exclusive residential neighborhood deliver privacy that resort properties can't match.

If you want something completely unique: Loulu Palm or Hawaii Polo Club

For couples who want something nobody else has — the lake and palms at Loulu Palm or the mountain-meets-ocean setting at the Polo Club create wedding photos unlike anything else in Hawaii.
