Founded in 2011 by Brandan Lee, Pure Media Hawaii is an award-winning wedding photography and videography studio rooted in Honolulu, Oahu. We believe every couple deserves imagery as unique as their love — raw, emotional, and cinematic without feeling staged.

I founded Pure Media Hawaii in 2011 with one goal — to give every couple images and films that are as real and unique as their love story. Over 1,000 weddings later, that mission hasn't changed.
Born and raised in Hawaii, I know these islands like the back of my hand — the hidden beaches, the perfect light at golden hour, the venues that look incredible on camera and the ones that need a little creative direction. That local knowledge is something you can't replicate.

FAQ — Hawaii Wedding Photography & Videography
We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak Hawaii wedding season (October–April). We do occasionally have openings for shorter timelines — just ask.
Absolutely. We regularly shoot on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. Travel fees may apply — include your venue in your inquiry and we'll give you a full quote.
Edited photos are delivered within 6–8 weeks via a private online gallery. Cinematic highlight films take 8–12 weeks. Rush delivery is available — ask us about expedited options.
Once we confirm your date, we send a simple contract and request a 25% retainer. The remainder is due 30 days before your wedding. We also include a complimentary planning call.
Yes — many of our couples fly in from the mainland and internationally. We're experienced with destination weddings and coordinate everything remotely with ease.
